If I'm lucky, I'll split a ride down to Van, if not... it looks like 8 hours on a bus, as I can't in good mind pay for those overpriced Airline fares.

I'm a very bad car-trip person(transit on a empty stomach is the death of me..), and I will say that I'd still drive rather than pay for airfare for a 16hr trip vs a 1-2hr flight... Surrey to Smithers(Somewhere halfway up BC.) ftw, me and family went this summer for my cousin's wedding. Anyways, I hope you don't get carsick like I do =(

To All Those Who Are Taking the Transit:

Let's all meet up and go together in cosplay so people will give us strange looks throughout the whole duration of the ride. Also, we must scream out a catchphrase by our characters during the ride to break awkward silences.

From what I hear, the strange looks are the best part whilst riding transit! Makes me kinda actually want to go on teh Skytrain to get there xD That and wander around random places in cosplay...

But I get transit sick easily... Riding the bus almost everyday to school hasn't cured me yet. ¬.¬ So what if it's only 10mins each way...

So I hope to be able to drive there, as I apparently don't get sick when my concentration is on the road xD

Either will drive and park at the river rock (2 dollar parking FTW) and take the canada line down, or stay at the fairmont again (yay for family discounts)
