Plane then a taxi most likely
Be it the toss of a saber, the catch of a rifle, the blockage of colour from the flags during the final feature, or the graceful dancing through out the show, this is what makes the sport of the arts my anti-drug.

You could use the transit system, unless where you're staying is too far from a bus stop/skytrain station. It's a lot cheaper, but probably not as convenient as going by taxi. (I know I'd usually prefer taxi over transit when out of town... but the bill makes me sad. xD)

Adding to what SiguusaEcho said, CirqueCosplay, the transit system in Vancouver is actually pretty good. WAY better than the Calgary transit system.

Trust me. I know. ;_;

Good idea but it would depend on where I'll be staying. Anyone know of any decent hotels near the convention centre?

By your other thread, I'm assuming you found some places =3 But yeah, the transit isn't bad('cept I get sick sometimes...) at all, and it's $9 tops for a daypass if I recall. Just take a look at the translink site when you have your accommodations figured out and see if it works out =3

I might be staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim though so I'd only have to walk :3

Ah, that'd put you pretty close to the con location. But yeah, transit is good for airport -> downtown as well, unless you have a lot of stuff to carry.

I shouldn't have that much to carry - a suitcase at most.

Yep, you can pretty much go from the airport, hop on the Canada Line for $3.75 tops for a 2 zone pass, and ride it all the way to Waterfront xD It's about 500m ish away from Waterfront station, according to rough calculations on google maps. At that point, you could walk and enjoy the scenery as you make your way to your hotel, with extra coinage to spend on food or other random goodies at the con xD
