Wig Styling tutorial/commissions?

Hey guys

A while ago a planned on making a tutorial of wig styling for the forums...but see I made a pretty bad error the other day.

I sat down to work on our wigs (Yukio and Rin okumura) and...finished them without so much as a photo for the tutorial.

I even had my camera there

*pauses for laughter*

SO my question is...

Does ANYONE have a wig that needs styling that would be willing to leave it in my hands? It takes me a few hours max to do a wig. I have experience with short wigs but can style longer wigs should they be needed.

I done designs for

Brief - Panty and Stocking
Yukio - Ao no Exorcist
Rin - Ao no Exorcist
Dawn - Pokemon
Potemayo - ?


If you'd like photos let me know and i'll try finding them. I have a few on my phone and will be emailing them to myself so I can update this thread on thursday.

I live in the langley area if anyone is wondering. I can come down to metro town (farthest I'll go) to retrieve someone's wig for the tutorial.

LOL this reminds me of when I was supposed to take WIPs of my Frost cosplay. I finished it in a day(whole dayy... lol...) and so all I have is stack of fabrics -> cosplay xD As for wigs, I need more practice styling them sorry OTL Hope someone jumps on this opportunity to get their wig styled for free(and the good of wigstylingnoobs everywhere).

Lol, dude, I can't say I've done something like that, but I'm sure it is bound to happen one of these days. Your offer intrigues me, I'm having problems trying to style my wig for Jasmine from Aladdin, and I am too cheap to order one made that is like 200 bucks and not the most accurate style in the world. However, I would rather do it TOGETHER, if you allow it. That way I can help out and not feel like a total hobo for just letting someone else do it. I have the base wig and bought a ponytail for add ons, but I've already started messing with it, so it might not be the best thing for you to try and style. Also, I don't know if you'd even want to style a wig for a character you've never done before. Let me know, and I would love to see the pics of your styled wigs!

P.s. I live in Surrey, so the collaboration wouldn't be so difficult
