Oh hey, I was just thinking about that.

But I would like to suggest that before anyone can participate with their weapon props, that we have someone check if the materials are actually soft enough so that it won't cause any bruising or harm.

"Basically this is a 1 vs 1 sword battle with foam swords. You've got 3-5 minutes to evade, parry, and hit your opponent. You will be judged on style, hits dealt, hits taken, and above all else you will be judged on your ability to amuse the crowd. Crowd's favourite has a higher chance of making it to the next round so keep that in mind!

Foams could vary. I doubt people would go in there with styrofoam props as it sort of breaks very easily. Some foam does hurt when you hit people with it. And it bruises as well. (MEMORYFOAM...)

This would be very entertaining to watch! Foam shouldn't hurt as long as the edge and ends are not too sharp:) cool event to have for sure!
