Don't say that, it'll remind me of my classes D:
And after a 3ish year lapse, let's hear explanations enough for 3 years worth of threads? =D

I kid, I kid. But a more thorough explanation would be definitely nice \o/

how hard is it to understand? you and your opponent take turns on stage and shake your stuff for the judges and audience. It's not rocket science.

Sometimes simplicity is the hardest to understand? xD While your line pretty much sums up what it is, the initial post seemed confusing for someone with no prior knowledge =<

Hence the provided video reference. To some it seems difficult to grasp HOW to do it but for most it's amusing to WATCH people do it. If you're unsure perhaps you can simply watch this years Walkoff and next year you can decide if you wish to participate. ^_^

What. Isn't it just sauntering on the stage in an orderly fashion as the judges kicks people off? = =

The walkoffs were always the highlight of my previous AEs! I'm so glad it'll be returning!
So contestants basically perform short acts, be it a dance, a skit, a song, poses, anything that will win the crowd over.
From previous years, contestants are usually directly facing off another contestant so they take turns performing
Something funny, original, and in character usually gets the biggest reactions.
In the past, the mic systems and music were usually not set up that well so if you plan on saying something, you'll have to be loud. But since you're directly going against another contestant, what I've see before is a verbal battle and some of the cleverest things can make the crowd crazy.
I hope this will be just as awesome as the walk offs I've seen before! C=

It's great to have a lot of positive reflection of the previous Walkoffs. I hope that it will return to bring you some of those epic memories!

I'm STILL looking for contestants so pleeeease send an application! Male or Female. Early/registered applicants will have the luxury of picking out short intro songs for themselves and etc.

So long as they don't hurt anybody and it's easy to sweep up afterward I deem projectile props acceptable but I'll need to get back to you on that.

And just a reminder that I am STILL looking for 7 New Contestants to face off this tournament.

I am definitely new to this convention and event. I hail from Ontario and never heard of this event before but I still don't quite understand what one has to do.
