Cosplay Parade

Discussion about, promotion for, and general discussion of events

Postby CirqueCosplay17 » Mon Mar 12, 2012 8:53 pm

Hey I was wondering:

As something to do a lead up before the cosplay competition could we have a parade of cosplayers? Of course I'd love to be in the front spinning my rifle or flag for that :P
Be it the toss of a saber, the catch of a rifle, the blockage of colour from the flags during the final feature, or the graceful dancing through out the show, this is what makes the sport of the arts my anti-drug.

With music of course

A line of cosplayers in a sea of cosplayers? We need a lil more contrast >=D But I like the idea.

If contrast is what you're after, might I recommend the Dream Parade from Paprika?

That could work!
Also: we'd need to figure out parade tunes and how speakers can be carried (probably on a cart)

I vote for "Electric Angel" by Vocaloid
"Raise Your Glass" by Pink
"Dynamite" Tao Cruz
"Call Me Al" Paul Simon

And in between songs there's like a little dubstep ditty then we chant: "A. N. I. M. E. R-E-Volution!"

Maybe I should bring a whistle too!

ooooooh okay I think I know what you're talking bout! But it would be better to have more than one song though: like a mix of top 40 and anime themes.

This is starting to sound like a less fun version of the decentralized dance party.
