I also suggest anime that is generally liked by everyone like Sailor Moon, DBZ, FMA, Cowboy Bebop, etc.

I agree! We should totally watch Ghibli movies :)

Oh! Oh! I know of a movie. Distant World concert, which is a concert of Final Fantasy music. It was suppose air at Naru 2U convention in 2011 but got cancelled and I never got to see it but I am hoping to see it live in Montreal later this year. Either way, there is a DVD of it. :)

I'm not sure if my friend was talking about the same one, but I heard it was really good :)

Hmmm...I'm not sure either. Hopefully it is the same one. Either way, tickets go on sale this Friday for Montreal. Glad that it has finally came close to me. Almost went to New York and Toronto to see it but both are too far away. My sister and I are going to see it since we are big fans of Final Fantasy. There is also VIP to meet the composer.

I concur with the Ghibli movies and The Girl Who Lept Through Time. I own TGWLTT on blu-ray if we are able to get our hands on a blu-ray player for the con. I would be happy to bring it.

I also would LOVE to see the Macross F movies, Pokemon, Digimon, (The Japanese movies are interesting to watch compared to the mashed up North American movie, and nostalgic to boot.) Sacred Star of Milos - FMA Brotherhood, The Gundam 00 movies, Trigun Badlands Rumble, Akira,

If any episodes of series are going to be shown I'd recommend Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, HELLSING (The OVA's, since one of our fine guests voiced the main character), Card Captor Sakura if we can get our hands on it, or at least the second movie, The Tales of Symphonia Animation.

I could go on haha, but those are my two bits. =)

Can you play DVDs? At my work's last holiday party, I won the entire season of Astro Boy and I recently bought the movie. I also have the entire ReBoot collection if you are interested in non Anime.
