Hey there Pokemon Champions,

You have played the games, watched the show, bought the cards even. We've all wished we had our own pokemon and that we could set off into the Pokemon world to compete, collect badges and destroy team rocket.

Anime Revolution is bringing this dream to life!

Anyone who attends the convention and has anything from a ds-3ds can join in our Pokemon Master Challenge!

Here are the rules!

This tournament is based off of Soul Silver, or Heart Gold.
Compatible games would be the Platnium, Pearl and Diamond Editions.

No, Black and White are not compatible.

Rules and Restrictions

Rayquaza
Deoxys (all forms)
Dialga
Palkia
Giratina
Darkrai
Arceus
Manaphy
Wobbuffet
Garchomp
(Tyranitar is NOT BANNED for those who are asking.)

Clauses:

Sleep Clause: You may only sleep one of your opponents Pokemon at a time. You may not intentionally sleep an opposing Pokemon while one on their team carries that status. (Using Rest still triggers this Clause)

One-Hit Ko Clause: Moves that guarantee a One-Hit KO such as Guillotine etc. are banned

Evasion Clause: Moves that raise a Pokemon's evasion such as Double Team are banned. Moves that lower an opposing Pokemon's accuracy, such as Sand Attack, are still allowed. Bright Powder is allowed.

Duplicate Clause: You may not have two of the same Pokemon on your Team.

Team Rules:

Teams may only be comprised of level 40-50 Pokemon. Pokemon higher than 50 will be brought down level 50 by means of ingame settings. Prepare a team of six Pokemon. Team sizes will vary with the amount of participants. For Gym Leaders and Team Rocket, team sizes will be set to 3 if there are more than 50 people participating and 4 if there are less. For Elite 4, teams will have 6 Pokemon.


On Generated Pokemon: These Pokemon(R4 etc,) will be allowed so long as they do not exceed normal restrictions for that or any Pokemon. (Your 31 IV Wonderguard Spiritomb etc. is not welcome, it will get you thrown out.) Keep edited values within reason and do not give a Pokemon any moves, stats, or abilities than it cannot legally obtain. Final decision is up to judges on whether or not it is deemed you are cheating. You may bring all the strangely-gendered or shiny Pokemon you like.

Notes for applicants, you don't need to be a gym leader every day, and you can still be a trainer when not being a gym leader!!

you can still fight if you have diamond, pearl, ruby, saphire, emerald, firered and leaf green.

As long as you have a DS, DS lite or above, you can play!

Two questions that you may have already planned to address later on but:

1. Will there be tiering rules for pokemon used? (Uber, OU, UU, etc)
2. Would this be throughout the con or on a specific day?
