Yeah... that's one of the sole reasons why I don't buy my games in other languages since I like to have a vague idea of what is happening.

On a side note, Future shop still hasn't mailed over the steel book case that was supposed to come with my game //charizard rage.

Lol... I can understand around 70% of the things and whatnot but I'm one of those people who likes the story over anything else so not knowing the whole story accurately bothers me. = =

Good thing ff13 is so linear that its super easy to follow. although I do miss the side quest craziness that all the other ff games had (minus the frustration)
