The grudge is actually not THAT scary...back then i thought i would have an heart attack while watching it but after watching it, I was like... psh... It wasn't that bad!
And i think i've heard of red shoes before... what is it about?

LOL! i'd only be hearing screams from the screen AND my friends hahaha most of the time i'll just read the plot on wikipedia or something. even looking at the covers scares me,,and i stay away from trailers.

hmm.. i remember it being about these pair of pinkish/red looking shoes and these girls were obsessed with them. but when certain people put them on, it would like... chop off their feet and a lot of bad things happened

LOL that's terrible... DOUBLE SCREAMING. That could hurt ears haha. Oh yes! I have heard of this movie before. I think I will watch this with my friends on our next movie marathon >=)

Oh I've waatched hansel and gretel before...i didn't know the genre was horror because It wasn't that scary. It was rather sad and overall a good movie :) I watched it like 3 times.
Yeah I agree with your friend, I like movies that are generally scare without the blood and gore. Besides if you haven't noticed, americans always "americanized" asian horror movies.
And you should tell your friend to watch Doll Master because it is a korean horror movie

Super gory, super graphic, super scary.
And not to mention, based on a true story...
