Hmm, favourite anime.... I would probably say either Death Note or Hetalia. (Hetalia the reason I pass history, Death Note is creepy, creepy = awesome)
I never cosplayed before, if I am going to, I'd say either L, Russia, or Prussia.
May~be even Light, just maybe.

Lastly, currently watching Death Note (for the 3rd time) and Hetalia (English dub) finished the japanese as far as it would go)
