I was wondering, are the registration and the hotel prices going to cost the same with American currency as they do with Canadian money?

Hi Paladin,

The registration and the hotel prices are in Canadian dollars.

If you're using an American credit card to make purchases, the cost you are paying will depend on the exchange rate.
For example, if the USD and the CAD are at parity, then the prices will be the same. If the USD is higher than the CAD, then you might be saving some cents

Is there any word on the single day pass price? Even if the answer is still "we don't know exactly", can it be confirmed one way or the other if it's definitely going to be more than the current pre-reg price of $50 for three days? I ask because I have a couple of friends who are currently waiting on buying their passes (they are undecided if they want to go I guess), and if it's definitely going to be more than $50 at the door for the single-day pass, I can try to convince them to pre-register. If not, it's possible they might decide they can't/don't want to attend.

It'd probably be more money in your pocket if we can get at least some idea. Thanks, and I appreciate all your effort to revitalize the Vancouver anime scene!

To compare, our 3-day pre-reg price is $50 till March 31 2012, which is a much better deal, even if you want to go for one day only!

Cool that's awesome to hear! I kind of thought these would more or less be what the prices would be given that it was said a few months ago that the 3-day pass would still be a better deal. I let a couple of people know who were waiting to buy their passes, it's possible this might save them some cash. Thanks!

Dang! I was saving up for a VIP pass. Guess I will have to buy a regular pass now unless someone is willing to resell their pass. Hope that is allowed.
