I used to sleep on the train/bus all the time (having gone to school in Van, taking transit from Delta). All I did was set an alarm on my iPod for the amount of time until my stop - since I'd be listening to music anyways - and it would wake me up before my stop. It could be a little off at times since traffic is always different... but I never missed my stop!
I sleep on the skytrain all the time. I try to get seats by myself, or always be the window if I can't. No one bugs me usually because they probably think I'm weird for sleeping :p I never set an alarm though, I'm on Langley and I always go from king George to waterfront, and if I over sleep - some kind soul wakes me up
That being said, I'll be coming in from Langley to the convention.... And will probably be taking the skytrain. Shall us Langley people meet up at king george at a certain time to get on the same train.... So much more comfortable if you have a huge group of freaks with you
