Good question! The reason why we have used a third-party app to facilitate this contest is because it follows Facebook's Promotional Guidelines. This means that Shares and Likes (FB features) are off-limits as Facebook does not want to associate itself with any promotion/contest. Your idea of using a photo album and generating Likes that way would have been way simpler and easier but we would have risked page termination. We know a lot of companies disregard these Guidelines, but we really don't want to wake up one morning and find out that Facebook deleted our Page.
We have a solution that will avoid your friends having to "install" the app before voting. Please check your PM and see if you want the solution to be implemented. If you agree, we will need to contact the other participants, just to make it fair
If not, we will leave the contest the way it is since there's only a few days left.We thank you for your insight and will definitely use it to improve our contests in the future.
