Glomping Room!

Hello everyone!

How would everyone feel if we had a room designated for glomping? Would you join in?

The Glomp Circle was banned from nearly all convention grounds because of how dangerous it was, and now it's just being held on public land just outside of those conventions' jurisdictions where the convention staff can't do anything about them. The last thing we need is an actual room within convention space solely dedicated to it.

As well, if that event was somehow approved, and people ended up getting hurt, then the convention is liable.

If anyone is so starved for human contact that they require an entire room dedicated simply to fulfilling that need, perhaps they should be spending the money they are using to go to anime conventions on a good therapist instead. I don't care if this gets me labelled as a "troll" or whatever you lot are all calling it, every idea in this thread is bad and you should feel bad. The "glomp game" and this culture of desperation alienate outsiders by making them feel uncomfortable and causes all of us to just look ridiculous. The fact that some people need to be told this is as flabbergasting as having to tell people they need to bathe.
