We're playing with Flat Standards with allows up to 2 Ubers, but frankly, I don't think they will be too necessary, we want everyone to be able to play. not just the pros.
And This will go on once a day for all 3 days of the convention.

To my understanding, there is wi-fi at VCEC, however it is very expensive.

Well, certain areas will have wifi, but we can't depend on them so I will say no right now but like i said, some areas will and if you decide to battle there, then you are set.

Well, certain areas will have wifi, but we can't depend on them so I will say no right now but like i said, some areas will and if you decide to battle there, then you are set.
Sorry, there will be no wifi available at the convention. This has already been confirmed.

Flat Standard allows you to play with any Pokemon and it automatically levels all Pokemon to Level 50 - it is not biased against any tier. For example, Wobbuffet is an uber in Diamond/Pearl. Senshomaru, you may be referring to Legendary Pokemon...

Since I don't have Soul Silver, but do have Diamond.
I believe everything between Diamond/Pearl and Soul/Heart will be compatible with each other. So that includes D/P, Platinum, and S/H.
