i remember watching a live action one.

It was really funny! I think it was totally over done with huge "bouncy" effects. I believe the kamloops anime club had a hand in it...

How can you have a tournament with Final Fantasy? FF9 speed runs? Dissaida? That's the only ones that come to mind.

Speedruns would be a VERY long and drawn out contest. Nonetheless, i'm interested!

The live action one i saw had 2 groups pretend to fight and cast spells on one another.

I have no idea how they worked out the hit points/damage per turn but it was very funny to watch.
